I see you don’t have per-host agents like most other products have. I assume you do support other open agents?
Yes. Circonus was designed to take advantage of any existing agent technology you may already have, or agents that are built into your existing systems. Most of our enterprise clients do leverage some form of open agent, whether it is third-party agents like collectd, Munin or NRPE; or agents like the Node Agent or Resmon. Windows is one platform where we supply you with a specific agent, that uses the standard Windows monitoring infrastructure.
We also provide a very robust, high performance agent (NAD) if you want to switch or do not use any of the above.
