My PostgreSQL check against pgbouncer used to work and now it doesn’t. How do I fix it?

If you have set up a PostgreSQL check against pgbouncer (rather than postgres) and it used to work and now it doesn’t it, might be because Circonus switched out the postgres client implementation to Java (for better stability).

To fix this problem, users should add the following line to their pgbouncer.conf file:

ignore_startup_parameters = extra_float_digits
